Post Model extends Postgre SQL with a model datatype. A model is any expression that can be evaluated by some interpreter, so for example functions defined by an SQL expression have been implemented as models.

Post Model also provides primitives for interfacing Postgre SQL with packages such as the popular R platform for statistical analysis and data mining.

Post Model runs on any version of Postgre SQL for which your models (functional expressions) are properly implemented.
