sheridan

• Sun Grid Engine

  • config and data files: under /opt/sge
  • config tool:

• dnsmasq - DNS and dhcp inside the cluster

• mysql - has data from fly screen, RNA localization work, ? (fungi, neurospora)

  • there ought to be a second DNS server; it used to be on the sinclair (former jbrowse.org machine, now with dead hard drive) but currently (3/18/11) there's no second server.
