Gene Wiki

Gene wikis
"Gene wiki" is a somewhat ambiguous phrase that is typically understood to mean a wiki-fied version of a gene database.
This could be a wiki whose pages discussed genes in an individual genome (c.f. the Fly Base gene pages) or entries in a database (such as Pfam families, or Gene Ontology terms).
For example:
- Zebrafish genome wiki
- contributions to Wikipedia
- The Gene Wiki Portal (Huss et al.: A gene wiki for community annotation of gene function. PLoS Biol. 2008;6:e175.)
- WikiProject RNA (RFAM et al)
Not to be confused with:
- Genome Wiki -- i.e. a wikified Genome Browser
