• Brief Bio: I am a first year Ph D^? student in the UCSF/UCB Joint Graduate Group in Bioengineering. I am interested in synthetic biology, cellular systems design, metabolic engineering, and deterministic cellular programming...which are all pretty much the same thing. I got my BA from Cornell University in biology and chemistry in 2007 and worked for a year with Drew Endy at MIT. I hale from Wichita Falls, TX and from Munich, Germany.
