About Me

Hi! My name is Tahoura , and I'm a third year bioengineering student at UC Berkeley. My concentration within bioengineering is synthetic biology. I got interested in bioengineering, specifically synthetic biology when I heard about iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine competition) as a sophomore in high school. One interesting fact about me is that I have an identical twin sister who also goes to Cal (say hi if you see her! ). In my free time, I like to run and I organize science activities for elementary-age children in the Berkeley area for the Berkeley chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
