SWETHA AKELLA
swetha.akella@berkeley.edu
I am a third-year undergraduate pursuing a B.S. in Chemistry. I currently work in the Keasling lab at JBEI, in the fuels synthesis division -- metabolic engineering of yeast to improve flux through the mevalonate pathway. My work there in synthetic biology is what got me interested in computational biology. Aside from comp bio, my main interests lie in energy and green chemistry.
